A long time DC resident, Stephanie began working in restaurants in 2012 as a pastry assistant at Jackie's in Silver Spring, Maryland, where she realized she had a strong passion for cooking, especially baking. She spent several formative years working at 1905 Bistro & Bar, formerly in Shaw, where she developed her pastry and savory skills before moving on to the Knightsbridge Group in 2017 and, most recently, Mintwood Place in Adams Morgan. Her cooking reflects her love of American cuisine, especially the South, and is heavily influenced by seasonal and local ingredients.
